Dr. Tiffany Beer, a passionate and experienced educational leader with a well-rounded background in both classroom instruction and curriculum development, serves as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Rahway Public Schools. Dr. Beer’s educational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education with a minor in Spanish, providing her with the skills to not only understand the nuances of language but also communicate with a diverse student body.
Dr. Beer then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision, deepening her foundational knowledge of educational systems and leadership practices. This was followed by a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, demonstrating her deep commitment to continuous learning and growth within the field.
Throughout her career, Dr. Beer has consistently demonstrated a dedication to improving student achievement. She has experience in a variety of roles, ranging from classroom instruction as a high school English teacher to district-level leadership positions. As an English Department Supervisor and a Program Supervisor of Literacy, she oversaw curriculum development and teacher evaluation, ensuring a strong foundation for student learning.
In her current role as Director of Curriculum & Instruction at Rahway Public Schools, Dr. Beer spearheads the district's educational programs, as well as the district’s ESEA program. She supervises a team responsible for aligning curriculum with state standards, developing professional development for teachers, and overseeing the evaluation of instructional staff. Dr. Beer's leadership extends beyond the district walls, as she has presented at educational conferences such as NCTE and NJSBA and is a mentor for new administrators throughout the state.
