Youth Mental Health Resources

The New Jersey Youth Suicide Prevention Advisory Council has shared important resources to support the mental health and well-being of our students and families.

This document includes:

  • Information about the Children’s System of Care (CSOC), which provides emotional, behavioral, addiction, and developmental disability services.

  • The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7 via call, text, or chat.

  • Supports for educators, families, and students such as Prevent Suicide NJ, the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide Toolkit, the NJ Statewide Student Support System (NJ4S), the 2nd Floor Youth Helpline, and the Traumatic Loss Coalition.

Mental health concerns among youth have reached unprecedented levels, and raising awareness of these supports can save lives. Please take a few moments to review and share these resources with anyone who may benefit.
