GRADING

  1. EACH STUDENT STARTS THE MARKING PERIOD WITH 100 POINTS
  2. EACH TIME A STUDENT IS UNPREPARED FOR GYM OR DOES NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE ACTIVITY, THEY LOSE NINE POINTS
  3. A STUDENT WILL LOSE ONE POINT FOR EACH PIECE OF GYM CLOTHING THAT IS NOT APPROPRIATE
  4. STUDENTS CAN GAIN EXTRA CREDIT POINTS FOR AN OUTSTANDING EFFORT DURING AN ACTIVITY
  5. AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS EACH DAY, IF A STUDENT IS LATE FOR ATTENDANCE, THEY LOSE ONE POINT
  6. EXAM AT THE END OF EACH MARKING PERIOD
  • FIVE ACTIVITIES
  • PASS/FAIL
  • FAILURE OF EXAM – LOSS OF FROM ONE TO NINE POINT OFF FINAL GRADE
  1. STUDENTS WILL LOSE POINTS FOR LACK OF EFFORT DURING AND ACTIVITY OR POOR BEHAVIOR IN CLASS
  2. SEVERE DISCIPLINE PROBLEMS RECEIVE A “0” FOR THE DAY, AND LOSE NINE POINTS
  3. IF A STUDENT CUTS MY CLASS, THEY RECEIVE A “0” FOR THE CLASS AND LOSE NINE POINTS
