This summer, we are proud to present the seventh annual STEM Summer Camp, for students in grades five through eight. Students learn the fundamentals of inquiry-based science and math, through activities that grow in complexity from teacher-guided to student-initiated investigations. Students build high powered radio-controlled cars using engineering, math and science principles.
They work in teams and share in the fun as they compete with each other in cars races. The final competition is on the last day of the camp each week. Certified math and science teachers lead the classes each day, using a variety of tools and resources, from paper-based planning tools to computer-based resources.
