Mrs. Gergich is excited to join the faculty at Grover Cleveland Elementary School this year! She has wide-ranging experience as a performer and teacher, conductor, chamber music coach and early childhood music teacher. She holds a Master of Music Degree in Instrumental Conducting from Mason Gross School of the Arts, and Bachelor of Music Degrees in Flute Performance and Music Education from the University of Minnesota and New Jersey City University, respectively.
Before teaching at Grover Cleveland, Mrs. Gergich taught Orchestra, Guitar Ensembles, K-2nd, and 4th-8th Grade General Music at Hatikvah International Academy Charter school, an International Baccalaureate School, where she founded the instrumental programs that flourished during her tenure at the school. Outside of school Mrs. Gergich teaches at Rutgers Community Arts, an extracurricular ars program, where she works with elementary age through adult students of varying levels in the private lesson and chamber music programs, regularly perform outreach concerts in the community and local schools with her Flute and Guitar Duo, and maintains a private lessons studio based in South Jersey.
