**Ad Hoc committees do not meet regularly, Student Judiciary is activated when there is a student recommended for long-term suspensions, and a Long-Range Facilities Committee is an ad hoc committee of the Board of Education established to study, plan, and advise the Board on the district’s long-term facilities needs. Its purpose is to ensure that school buildings, grounds, and infrastructure are safe, functional, fiscally responsible, and aligned with the district’s educational goals and projected enrollment trends.
Unlike standing committees, a long-range facilities committee is temporary and purpose-driven. It is created to focus on a specific body of work over a defined period of time and dissolves once that work is complete. The committee does not take formal action or make final decisions; instead, it gathers information, reviews data, and develops recommendations for consideration by the full Board in public session. and to report out on those to the Board as a whole.
