The Mathematics Algebra I Course allows students to focus on key mathematical concepts and ideas with emphasis on problem solving, reasoning and communication.
Students are encouraged to write and justify their thinking mathematically.
Throughout this course, we will study expressions, systems of equations, functions, real numbers, inequalities, exponents and polynomials, as well as radical and rational expressions.
This course will prepare students to further explore concepts needed in high school.
