New Student Registration
NOTICE: At this time, our Preschool 3-Year-Old program is at capacity and there is currently a waiting list. Any new registrants will be added to the waiting list. We encourage applicants to complete the registration process so that the child is eligible for consideration as openings occur.
To register a new student, please see below:
Please review the PK-12 Registration Letter (also posted below in English and Spanish) prior to registering your child.
To begin the registration process click here to create an application for Enrollment. The School Enroll code is 1138. If you are enrolling more than one student, you will have the opportunity to click “enroll another” student after the first student has been submitted.
You will receive two email notifications for each student. The first email will be titled “Welcome to Ecollect Enrollment” and the second email will be titled “Rahway Public School Registration Further Steps”. You have the ability to save & log out if needed prior to submission.
Registration requires documentation of immunizations, proof of age, proof of guardianship (or affidavit application) and proof of residency. Students entering the Rahway Public Schools are required to present documentation of medical examination (Physical) prior to their first day of school.
Documents can be uploaded directly to the registration site during submission, faxed to 732-396-2635 or they can be brought to one of our schools (to the main office of an elementary school or the guidance office of the 7th/8th Grade Academy or Rahway High School.) During the summer from July 1st through August 31st elementary school documents should be brought to the Central Registrar by appointment only.
A child’s enrollment into the Rahway Public School District will be confirmed once we have received and reviewed all required documentation.
School assignments and sessions of students entering Kindergarten through 12th Grade will be scheduled by the individual school secretaries or guidance counselors. Preschool children will be assigned by the Office of Early Childhood Education staff.
All assignments and sessions will be prioritized based on the child’s completion date of enrollment, available space and are not determined solely by address of residence. Every effort will be made to accommodate parental requests.
If you have questions, please call our registrar at 732-396-2960 or email Melanie McCurdy at email@example.com.
