Rahway Schools will be closed for students beginning Monday, March 16, closed indefinitely due to coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns. This decision is strictly preemptive; there are no known cases of COVID-19 in Rahway Schools. Information updates will be sent out through email, phone calls, and posting to the district website in this area. NOTICE: GRAB & GO MEALS: If your child is part of the free and reduced lunch program, we will be preparing meals (breakfast and lunch) for “grab and go” pick-up, beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the following locations:
- Rahway 7th & 8th grade Academy - Kline Place entrance
- Grover Cleveland School - Door # 3 entrance on the Montgomery St. side
The “grab and go” meal pickup will continue Monday through Friday until the district has reopened for student attendance.
Parents and Guardians: We sent home a survey notice with all students on, Friday, March 13th. You can access a copy HERE.We need to gather information about home Internet and WiFi capabilities so that we can best meet the needs of ALL of our students during any extended school closure. We prefer that you complete the survey in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. If you cannot access the Parent Portal for some reason, you can provide your responses using the paper notice and return it to your child's school (in-person, via email, or via US Postal Service). Please read the notice for all of the details.
