Rahway Middle School in partnership with Kean University has a mission to prepare new teachers and to support the existing educational program in the school. Student interns from Kean University work closely with Rahway Middle School teachers and administrators to support professional development, support the improvement of professional teaching, and to improve student learning at the school. Each semester Rahway Middle School hosts many interns from Kean University. These interns not only learn and develop innovative teaching strategies, but also successfully incorporate these strategies into the middle school program.
