New: To all Parents and Guardians of incoming SIXTH GRADE STUDENTS, Please remember that your child MUST have a Tdap and Menningicoccal vaccine BEFORE he/she enters 6th grade (the Menningococcal vaccine is given AFTER their 11th birthday). You can FAX immunization records to 732-882-0854 or have your child bring them to the nurse's office on the first day of school. Thank you, Mrs, Romano, school nurse 732-396-1098.

Reminder: THE FLU SEASON HAS BEGUN EARLY! PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN GET PROPER NUTRITION AND REST!

Reminder: There is now a nebulizer in the nurse's office. If your child has severe asthma, your phyician can write orders for him / her to keep tubing, mask, and their nebulizer medication in the nurse's office...Call Ms. Ortiz for further information.

Reminder to all families to check and see if your student is due for their next Hepatitis B Booster.

Reminder any student being sent home for illness must be signed out by an adult. ID will be required at the office.

Incoming 6th grade students are required to have begun their Hepatitis B series and (2)Two measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) immunizations. They may NOT come to school without proper proof or documentation of initiation or completion. This is a state requirement.

All students are encouraged to have routine physicals sometime around their 8th grade year. Please arrange this with your family physicians. Remember that the school no longer provides routine physicals. Please use your family physician or medical clinics.

All families received a NURSE HANDBOOK on the first day of school.If you did not receive one, you can pick one up in guidance or the nurse's office. Scoliosis forms need only be completed by families of 7th graders.

If your child suffers with severe hayfever, you can send in eye drops for the season.
