Dear Parents and Guardians,
Your child will be receiving a summer packet for both his/her science and mathematics courses for the school year 2008-2009. These packets have been created to prepare your child for the next grade level course. Your child has already learned the material in this packet and therefore, should be able to complete this work on his/her own.
Over the summer vacation, much of the information that was taught can either be forgotten or needs to be reviewed in the beginning of the school year. With this initiative, students will begin their new courses without spending many days reviewing their prior course. The completed packet and a follow-up assessment will be part of the first marking period grade. Please encourage your child to complete the packet and return it to his/her teachers of science and mathematics on the first day of school.
Additional information can be found on channel 35 in June. If your child does not bring home a packet or misplaces it, you can print one below or obtain another one in the main office of the High School. Please sign the front cover of the packet before your son/daughter returns it to school.
Some files are quite large, and because of download time, need cable or T1.
For best results, save the file to the desktop, then open the saved copy.
If you do not have Microsoft Word or Powerpoint, go to the
bottom of our homepage for a free downloadable viewer.
Paper copies of packets are also available from the main office of the high school.
