Congratulations to the RHS Track Team on an outstanding performance at the State Group 3 Championships.

The Indians advanced a large contingent of athletes to the State Meet of Champions on Wednesday. Bryan Champagne had a huge day for Rahway finishing 3rd in the triple jump breaking his own school record for the 4th straight time! Troy Eastman, who came in as the 13th seed finished 4th in the javelin. Chris Whyte ran a personal best to finish 5th in the high hurdles. Chris also advanced in the 400 hurdles where he finished 8th. Throwers Lashelle Bunion and Bendar Sumter finished 7th and 9th in the shot put and discus, while Ricky Draughn and Nichelle Harris also finished 9th in the 400 and 800. The 4 by 400 relay of Chris Whyte, Chris Brown, Russell Jenkins and Ricky Draughn finished 4th tying their season best.
