Ms. Fran Gavin

Ms. Gavin is both proud and honored to be Principal of Madison School. Her experience includes years as a teacher, School Counselor and Social Worker, Program Director, Substance Awareness Coordinator and Vice Principal.

As Principal, Ms. Gavin strives to promote excellence in academics as well as Character Education. She is a member of Madison’s team in the Science Leadership Academy, through the Merck Institute for Science Education.

Ms. Gavin lives in Carteret. She has three children, Nick, Greg and Marguerite. Her favorite teams are the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. Her hobbies are reading, attending sporting events and plays and traveling.

Ms. Gavin’s goals are to help students attain a love of learning and community development, here in Rahway and as members of a global society.
